Existentialism
A modern family of philosophies of freedom, situation, and the absence of a given human essence.
The label is disputed by some of the people it is applied to, including Camus. Sartre’s public lecture is the simplified manifesto. Beauvoir insists on situation. Kierkegaard is a religious predecessor who would not accept the secular slogan. NOEMA uses the family as the neighborhood of the creation pole, and then asks you to read the differences.
