Consequentialism
The family of views on which the rightness of an act depends primarily on the outcomes it brings about.
Utilitarianism is the best-known member of the family, not the whole of it. A consequentialist can still care about rules, character, and rights, if those are justified by the outcomes of honoring them. The Mohist appeal to benefit and harm is a partial and independent neighbor, not a translation of Mill.
