Families
Creators
Physicalism, created meaning, and the priority of the person.
Creators take the furniture of the world to be physical and the point of a life to be something a person institutes. Creation, on this map, is not a shrug and not a claim that nothing matters. It is the claim that weight can come from a commitment the universe did not already contain. What the person owes, and whether they could have committed otherwise, still splits the family.
This is not a measure of personality, mental health, intelligence, or character.
- MECDCIOutcome Author
Inside causes already under way, a person still authors a purpose, tests it by observation, and is willing to judge it by what it yields.
- MECLCIExperimental Self
A person writes the point of a life inside a physical world, judges the writing by its fruits, and does not treat the ending as fixed.
- MEDDCIDuty-Bound Maker
A personal purpose is made under constraints that outcomes do not erase, in a physical order where the will was going to act as it did.
- MEDLCIUnscripted Artisan
A purpose may be authored, some acts stay off-limits, and the physical story of the world has not already chosen for the author.
- MRCDCIConstructive Materialist
Argument understands a material world, projects are judged by what they yield, and meaning remains something each person constructs.
- MRCLCISelf-Founding Mind
A free agent founds a purpose by reasons, inside a physical world, and is prepared to judge that purpose by its results.
- MRDDCILawful Inventor
A personal purpose is invented under principles the inventor does not think they invented, in a physical order with no uncaused act.
- MRDLCISovereign Artificer
Ends are self-given, limits are treated as more than preferences, and another act was open in a physical world.
